Elizabeth Krajewski instructs Vocal, Piano, and Guitar lessons, and is the Studio Manager at Hands On Music School.
Elizabeth has been singing since the age of four and had her first solo
in church at eleven years old. With over 10 years of private
instruction experience, and a Vocal Music Education
with a Concentration in Performance degree, Elizabeth is an excellent
instructor and performer. She has directed and performed in
off-Broadway musicals such as Grease, Oklahoma, and West Side Story, and has done costume make-up and design for many
plays and musicals as well. She has also performed in several opera
productions including Pirates of Penzance, Madam Butterfly, and Merry Widow
with the San Antonio Opera, and continues to perform and help out as needed with SA Opera and Texas State University Opera Theatre.
Mrs. Krajewski loves teaching and
specializes in personal one on one attention with her students, making
each of them aware of how important music is for their every day
lives. Elizabeth teaches all age groups, from beginner level to
advanced for vocal instruction, beginner to intermediate level for
piano instruction, and beginner level for guitar instruction. She
currently has over twenty students at Hands On Music School, and looks
forward to meeting many more students wanting to learn and share their
love of music with others.

Dennis Passmore -
Professional Piano Entertainer and
Instructor for Hands on Music
Dennis Passmore delights general audiences and students alike with his
bright piano playing and his inspirational teaching. He holds an M.A.
from the University of Texas. He has taught, accompanied, and performed
with Houston Ballet, Performing and Visual Arts School of Houston,
University of Texas Dance
Department, Incarnate Word University, and the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago. One of Dennis' bands appeared with the San Antonio Symphony in the 70's on a special Children's Concert series. He is the author of "Music for Dance", which was published in Keyboard Magazine.
In Summer 2007 he played the production music for the "Wiz of the West" at the Bob Hope Theatre, Lackland AFB. It was a delightful children's musical.
Dennis currently plays jazz piano regularly at Petroleum Club, Oak Hills Country Club, and the Weston Center, in San Antonio. For several years he's taught students at San Antonio's Hands On Music-where he teaches all styles to both children and adults-and also specializes in Jazz and Pop music.
Dennis's students have played for Hands on Music's recitals, for the San Antonio Ragtime Society Festivals, and various school contests and events.
Dennis is married, has three grown children, and two grandchildren.
Mary Lou Finney instructs Piano at Hands On Music School.
Mrs. Finney began studying piano at the age of eight and continued
private lessons through high school. During those years she also had
the opportunity to accompany other students as they performed in band
and choral contests, and to serve as pianist for several high school
choirs. While in college, she studied private organ, and accompanied
vocal students for juries and recitals.
She has served as a pianist and/or organist in her local church for
more than 50 years in the states of Illinois, California, and Texas.
During
10 years of teaching business education at the high school level, she
also enjoyed accompanying many students in their solo and ensemble
competitions.
Introducing students of all ages to the
world of piano and the variety of types of music that they want to
pursue is a delightful challenge. Mrs. Finney's goal is to make
practicing piano seem like fun and not work.
Eric Lopez instructs brass, woodwinds, piano, guitar, and voice at Hands On Music School.
A San Antonio native, Eric has played trumpet, french horn, and guitar
since the fourth grade in various band programs. Eric still plays, and
is currently a band director.
While in college at Texas A & M, Kingsville, Eric studied voice,
piano, and classical guitar. He has a B.M. in all-level music, and has
taught all grade levels, from pre-kinder to high school. He also has
done graduate work at Our Lady of The Lake University.
Bill Johnson instructs Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, and Bass Guitar at Hands On Music School.
Mr. Johnson has over 30 years of musical experience and has written over 500 songs. He wrote Jack and Jenny, a musical performed at the University of Incarnate Word and H.B. Gonzalez Elementary School in San Antonio. He also has written and continues to write music in various genres including Rock and Roll, Folk music, Jazz, Blues, New Age instrumentals, and Sacred music. Bill Johnson currently has a one man band called Ice Fire - he plays lead, bass, and acoustic guitars, keyboards, harmonica, and sings for different gigs and venues He has played and continues to play in many musical situations - theater, jazz ensembles, country, Tejano, folk rock, fifties, New Age, sacred (Mass and prayer groups), heavy metal, rock and roll, and blues.
Mr. Vale instructs Accordian and Bajo-Sexto Guitar at
Hands On Music School.
Mr.
Ray Vale took over as Owner of Hands On Music School in October of
2006. He has many years of music and business experience. Mr. Vale has
a Bachelor's Degree in Music and a Master's Degree in School
Administration. He started as a band director for a local San Antonio
high school, and worked his way up to Administrator in several public
schools. Ray is a Certified Piano Technician and has had 45 years
experience with piano tuning and restoration. His piano store on Evers
Road is right next door to A:440 Studios - Hands On Music School.
Mr. Vale is a presenter for
national and international conferences for piano technology, and has
several patents for piano and instrument gadgetry. He is also a writer
of several books about piano tuning and technology.
